He had really interesting facts about all the various animal behaviors and seemed to know just where to go to find some amazing sights. We got to see a leopard in a tree, tons of lions, and we even found the wildebeest migration which was quite a sight! He was a great driver and made it such a fun experience. I highly recommend Dolphin tours and Lawi as a driver. I booked a trip by myself expecting to be grouped with others in a full keep but instead ended up getting a private safari with just me and him! What an experience!

  I used Dolphin Tours & Safari to plan a 10 day vacation in Tanzania for my mom & myself. This was our first trip to Africa, let alone Tanzania. I... read more worked with Zaki, at Dolphin tours as he came recommended from a friend and he helped me plan our entire vacation - 6 days of safari and 3 days in Zanzibar.

I had quotes from three different travel agents, all through recommendations, but decided to go with Zaki (Dolphin Tours) as he was very responsive, he spent a lot of time with me on the phone explaining things, recommending which National parks to go to and suggesting nice accommodations in our budget. Zaki took care of the everything for us, all I had to do was transfer the money and enjoy our vacation.

On our arrival, we were given a welcome gift, a huge snack bag (with chips, nuts, cookies, etc.) and bottled water for our entire 6 days on safari.

Zaki, sent us an excellent safari guide “Swedi”, you need to ask for him . Swedi was so good, he gave us a great safari experience, very good at spotting animals. During our trip we saw all the African Big 5 multiple times. Zaki & Swedi also arranged a surprise bush lunch for us, which was so sweet of them. My mom was so pleasantly surprised and loved the food, it was a good break from boxed picnic lunches, that we had everyday during safari.

On our last day of safari, we wanted to try local Tanzanian food, and Swedi arranged that for us by calling a local mama.

I would personally recommend working with Zaki & Swedi at Dolphin Tours & Safari for your next trip to Tanzania. Some of our personal favorite camps & hotels were - Burunge Tented Lodge, Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Camp, Serengeti Sound of Silence, and Marijani Beach Resort
